I WILL LIFT MY EYES UNTO THE HILLS, FROM WHENCE COMES MY HELP, MY HELP COMES FOR THE LORD WHICH MADE HEAVEN AND EARTH. PSALM 121:1,2 BIG BEAR LAKE, California, prox. 7,110 feet.
Hi Christine a good photo and a perfect verse. For three months my wife Lyn & I travelled alone in our 4WD for 15,000klms (almost 10,000 miles) through the Outback of Australia, with this verse on our dashboard, on our lips, in prayers & in our hearts. We didn't even get one flat tyre and at 5pm everyday we would be led to a beautiful safe campsite. Google- Rex Woodmore Heaven Bound
This is a beautiful image that matches the text beautifully, you have a real eye for a fantastic composition. I love the shade of blue you have used Christine, it has an almost depressive quality about it. It really draws the viewer in and ties the image to the title beautifully. I think we all need a little help from time to time. Excellent and expressive work my friend.
Artist Reply: I don't know about that! but it was someting being up that high I can tell you that, and what was more so was the ride on the way up. I have never been that high in a long time, literally. hahaha! I was kind of holdin on to the edge. I thought it was just another one of those boring scenic pic. don't yah think?! But the words and hope was there. Thanks again for visting with me. My thoughts are with you too. Sinseerly Christine
That does look like Holstern mountain (its a mountain range around here) !
BTW, You have my heart and mind when speaking of religion, now you have my eyes because of this profound work!
Love the verse Christine. The hills look awesome. I like how you have layers in the rolling mountains. The verse and image are consistent - great effort Christine!

Artist Reply: if you rolled from here Avalanche Bomber you would never survive, your help would have to come from the maker of heaven and earth...where it should come from in the first place.
