A Friday Long Ago

Paradox. Oh, sweet paradox. You have captured my heart. You have made me think in ways I have never thought of before. You appear as one but are another. Just as I think I know you, you move in mysterious ways so that I may discover new vistas I never dreamt of before. In giving I will receive. In surrendering I will win. And in dying I will be reborn "If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take his cross and follow me. For whoever would lose his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul".visionary imagist "Joey"

fine landscape view of the moment between time...

Artist Reply: Joe: Thanks. I actually painted that on Good Friday here at my gallery. It just seemed like the right moment to attempt to paint that scene. Thanks again!
