Although my wife and myself are keen gardeners can someone,if possible,tell me what this flower is,we have had it in our front garden since we moved in,anyway its a great bush with white and pink flowers.Caught this just after a light shower of rain. Stop Press: After a lot of serching on the Net and in Books,I've found out what this plant is,its a Lavatera 'Barnsley',and its a shrub,a 7 ft shrub...

It reminds me of the hibiscus floral. I don't know of them being with the long staman such as this one appears to be but you captured its beauty with the sky in the backdrop with the wisp of white clouds and the rain drops are just perfectKathie Nichols 29 Sep 2007
