I love your work. Can't get enough of it.Your buildings are magnificent and just look at these adorable children....waiting for someone. Or just gassing into the distance. What's the story behind this painting, tell me. I would really like to know.

Artist Reply: Suzana, Thanks for your kind compliments. The story behind it is: I was sketching the house and porch and the kids had walked out on the porch to watch me. I knew they wouldn't stand still long enough for me to sketch them...but they did let me take a photo and I added them later.....The kids are older now about 6 years I think and have moved. They lived with their father Mike Dahl at this house which they rented. I drove by one day and they were gone. I hope it was for a better place. That was the only time that I met Mike and the kids. Their mother actually saw the painting at a show I had in Shelbyville,Ky., and wanted to buy the painting. I held it for her for a few months and never heard back. don
