This is a very real world for all of us. These sights are all around and part of our lives whether we wish them to be or not. Surreal or real..I guess that depends on what a person's consumed that day. Great job on this!!

Artist Reply: Merle: The first frame is "War", then "Addiction", then "Greed" and finally "Ecocide". Thanks for taking the time to notice this work. I really appreciate your insights.

you did a fine job of this piece, joey

Artist Reply: Joanna: This is one of my favorite paintings. It's evil holding humanity with the 4 modern day horsemen of the apocalypse: war(butterflies),addiction(liver, pills, alcohol),greed(sharks, fish) and ecocide(hands strangling the world). Thanks for commenting. By the way, I really enjoy your art!!

Your work is amazing. Your ideas totally rock...and your techinique and vibrant colors really stand out! I look forward to seeing more!

Artist Reply: Renata: Thanks for the compliment. I hope to, in the near future, write an accompaying description of this painting. I tried, humbly, to capture some of the world's modern problems. I hope I succeeded just a little. Again thanks
