It was the round shape that drew me to this work, I like the way you incorporate the old amulet kind of thing with the modern use of color. Contrasts (old new) while not that common in art interests me.
I think that the makers of the TV series 'Stargate' must have seen your painting Annette! Many years ago a scientist friend explained, and described to me, the actual 'cone' shape of a rainbow, and its true positional relationship to the planet; you have somehow captured the essence of that truth here. :)

Through the looking glass we see what we aspire to the end of the rainbow and the treasure yet undiscovered but for whom the metaphysical pot of gold differs from person to person.
Great Paining. The frame of the focal point is just as beautifu and interesting. Actually can't seem to move off it. It certainly draws the eye inward. That is what I like most about your paintings, Annette, they pull me into your experience and statements.
