Promethius

This is a mural that was about 28 feet High depicting the statue at the Rockefeller Center in New York. Promethius was a God in greek mythology which was said to have stole the fire from Zeus. He then gave this fire to the mortal humans to have the ability to create what they willed. In punishment, from Zeus, for Promethius stealing this fire he was exiled to the top of a mountain. It was there that Promethius would be tortured everyday by a bird eating his regenerated liver out. The painting is executed in acrylic theme paints.
