Artist Reply: Jackie, I had never seen one in reality, myself. Only in a plant book. I thought it was so beautiful. Mine is a bit exaggerated with all the different blues, but I was just messing around. Thank you!!!
Artist Reply: Hi Penny, again!! Love it when you can comment! I think I got it to glow like that by using a white base at the center on black fibrous paper. I have been experimenting with different papers, and media, together. I used white wax pencil, then scraped the excess off, then covered it with blues of oil pastels. I also used AquaMonolith Pastellblau/ pastel blue 25/30 pencil.
