this was sketched from a picture in a calendar. but anyhow, i was working on a landscape for my drawing class and this came about. i probably won't submit it because i think she won't like it, but i like it. it turned out pretty well, i think. it seems that i've finally begun to capture the essence of sketching, but i've still got a long way ahead of me before i can make really good sketches. anyhow, this is chalk pastels, and took less than 1 hour.
