This is the view from my Mom's House boat on the river VECHT (Netherlands), which I painted from the
PICTURE , I showed you last week.
I painted a different sky, which you see a lot in this polder.
There only live 5150 people in my Mom's little town.
She loves it there and so do we, when we are over!
Both of my Mom's daughters (twins) live abroad. My twin sister lives in South Africa with her family, and we live in the USA. Fortunately my brother just moved back from Germany to Holland.
Second picture shows her boat.
You'll see the little windmill which I painted (R) as well.
You'll find the farm where my mom picks up her fresh milk and cheese. Weather permitted she travels over by her rowing boat or by a slow motorized boat! What a great life!
Acrylic on Studio stretched Canvas.
18"x24" (46x61 cm) Painting doesn't need a frame.
I also painted this one one a bigger Studio Canvas: 30"X24"x1.5"(76x61x3.5 cm)
It's a beauty and proudly hanging in my Living Room!
