"What Cat?" I don't see any cat....do you? This one was inspired by my devious-minded basset hound Beulah. Though she knows she is not supposed to play with the cats when they don't want to, she never can resist. Many a morning I have come around the corner of the stable to find her standing on the Mabel's tail. She only compounds her guilt by trying to cover the fact by hiding the cat beneath her considerable girth. I suppose I am supposed to think that feline growl is her stomach? Shame on you Beulah! Actually, she and Mabel really do love each other so don't worry, it is all in good fun! "What Cat" is a delightfully petite, direct from the artist piece in a highly-collectible 4 x 4 inch size. Original gallery-wrapped canvas in the private collection of L. Bowman.
