Color Spikes

This is a fun abstract design I digitally painted. I loved the way I got the blends of colors to flow, and the happy mood it gives off.

TERRY, THIS IS SUCH A FUN AND VIBRANT PIECE YOU CAN'T HELP BUT LOVE IT, YOUR WORK IS SO BEAUTIFUL IT REALLY WARMS THE HEART. EXCELLENT WORK MY FRIEND

Artist Reply: Thanks Gavin! Sometimes I feel like this painting, just bursting with joy of life. Those moments are ones that inspire me to paint more. The works remind me that life is worth all the times that aren't so good, to enjo the joy even more. I'm glad it got the results you felt. When one of my works does that, it makes my work priceless to me. So many suffer in life that we need to help spread the warmth and joy, as well as express the fears, anger, and pain in our works. Without such expressive works, so many lose out on ways to share themselves with others. I work more with the joyful type art, to help bring a smile to the heart. My own reminder of letting go of the pain. I do occassional works like your current series to let out any built up pain that needs to be let out. It really makes me feel better afterwards to express what I cannot put into words.

Terry don't you know what an amazing museum-sized pic this would make? Just think - 40x60 - the mind boggles - :0)

Artist Reply: LOL! It would surely be one you won't miss and pass by! I may try to do this on a large canvas in the future, only if I can get bright enough colored paints to match it closely. Would be fun to do. I put it on my do it as an oil painting. First, going to take some oil painting classes. Setting up some classes this week.

very colourful and vibrant and like this one very much

Artist Reply: Thank you Andrew! I am learning to let go with colors and just let it take me how I feel. For me it has been hard to do such works, at first. Now I am finding them more fun each time I work on one. Works like this one let me express my hyperness and joy, a good way to use the two. Will have to explore this more in future works.

nice happy colors !!!

Artist Reply: THans Blue Doll! It was done in a happy moment. Often if I'm down working with vivid colors will lift my spirits. This time I was already oozing with joy and I think it showed. LOL!

Powerful colors!

Artist Reply: Thanks Jerry! Yep, this one really pops with bright colors. It is one I will probably use in a gallery showing. Hard not to notice this one!

the colors, the movement. Wonderful Terry

Artist Reply: Thanks Linda! I had fun with this one. I get some amazing clorors with digital art that I can blend and mix about without the mudding up problems I might have with traditional mediums. If I goof an area, I can undo or redo it with ease. I have fretted over real canvas so many times from overdoing or not being able to get what I wanted to happen. I really love the no mess of digital as well. I'm a clutz so wear most of my supplies.

This is very cool, Terry!

Artist Reply: Thanks Steve so much! I am planning some bright works to do that will brighten ups some dreary places. I hope to donate some of the works in the future. I find that dreamy birght works can bring one's soul and outlook on life.

Eye Poping Work Terry ! Great Colors

Artist Reply: Thank you Denny! I love being able to pick the colors I want with digital art. I get frustrated with traditional paints trying to get the vibrant colors I want, but can do them all with digital.
