Celtic godess Lamp

Celtic Goddess carved into a light Mahogany, stands 12" tall. Drilled for fittings, will add these once I,ve decided if I,m going to do any more work to it!

Incredible artwork, Cathy. Do you turn your own pieces as well as carve them? You always create such precision and balance. Wonderful depiction of the hands...hard to draw, but must be harder to carve. Talk to you soon.

Artist Reply: Thank you sally, the lamps and bowls(not yet shown) are turned by a retired game keeper and a smahing chap! the other carvings, the wood is sourced from a lot of places, including the hill where I live, the walnut carvings are gun stocks or gun stock blanks, that is a large piece of wood that has not been carved into a gun stock.
