Hi Cami,Thanks for visiting! I think the best tip I could offer is to bocmee your own best friend, art teacher, and art coach. Look at lots of art constantly and identify what turns you on the most about paintings done by other artists that you love. This is a clue as to what your voice and vision might look like. Then make an analysis of what it is that turns you on about those works by other artists along with a second list of what it would take to get those elements into your own work. Never judge your work or your efforts harshly, encourage yourself to keep going even tho it gets tough (and it will/should), work to create paintings that you love, and don't wait for anyone else to approve of your work. Hope this helps and good luck!
