I am drawn to the surrealistic elements in your work. I love the lemon/lime/pepper that is past its "time". This is what ties everything together (which is not always easy to do in a surrealistic/abstract work) and gives relevance to the entire piece. I feel that the clock sets the stage, or the tone, and then the fruit "describes" it...Fine work there Julia!

I really like this one. The unexpected things which pop out after the initial impression are terrific. The black and yellow are also perfect for making this vibrant

Oh wow! I love this (all your painting in fact, which is usually the caseIf you got it, you got it) Brilliant the way you've enhanced the contrasts. I see two pictures, a very subtley strange but beautiful still life and then the background textures, shadows, and reflections which say something else altogether. The polka dots drive me nuts wondering what they're doing back there. Conceptually fascinating.
