Sisters

I have wanted to edit these photos of my sisters for a long time. They both passed away together in 1976. Brenda was 14 and Tracy was 13...and I still miss them and I always will. :( My son reminds me a lot of Brenda, his actions and expressions, so I always felt I still got to watch her grow up, through him. Ok, enough drama..lol. These are scanned 1-1/2x2 inch old school photos and I did the graphic layout work in PSPX. Thank you for looking :).... /copyright Susan Kinney

Nice!! As you know, we lost 2 0f our sisters within 18 months of each other. Brings back memories!! Someday-I may just have to have you do something similiar with all 5 of us. Thank you for sharing!! Melody

Artist Reply: Thank you for your comments Melody. i do feel your pain for your sisters. I would love to do a family photo for you. Harold has tossed the idea at me a few times too. infact, i did edit one of his family photo once.

Well, I needed a good cry...I knew them since birth and we "all" were and are family! Susie Q, what a great job you did! I will keep these copies FOREVER and share with my family (yours too, goofy) and I know they will shed a tear too. Penny

Artist Reply: thanks penny :) doing this photoart has left me in a funk for the past few days.. you wouldnt think so after all these years. between this one and the one i did of dad, its a good thing we dont live close together anymore. we'd have to buy a lot of beer...lol. thank you for the comment :)

Artist Reply: hi valerie, thank you for your comment. tom asked me for pics of the girls and all i had was those tiny pics you trades with friends in school. so i scanned then and made a 8x10 with them together. he wanted me in there too but i dont have one of me from that year. ..my mom didnt have one either..maybe someday i'll do one of the 3 of us..known as "the girls" :)
