It's getting late in the Month of Black History. I'd like to present this drawing of Tamara Dobson as Cleopatra Jones. This era in the film industry was a time of discovery, lots of social emotion, and a need to let go of the old ways. Tamara Dobson is gone, now, but I think she should be remembered. P.S. Those Afro's were hell to maintain when there is that much hair!

Carliss, I love that you paid homage to that era when Hollywood decided that they would dare to do some pictures with actors of color. Brave men, no, men who knew that there was great talent brewing and look at the oscars tonight and see how many beautiful actors of color who have turned in magnificent perfomances and win Oscars. Great tribute to her as well. Great acting in the day. Wonderful and very thoughtful. MiguelChristine brand 25 Feb 2007
