panda

Another one of my early works. I've done it over again several times and each time I tend to add more detail. I have to watch that though because this was meant to be a very 'clean'and uncomplicated image in my minds eye.(something you might want to put in a childs room) The original is9"x12"(23x30.5cm)and the background is white and not grey as it appears on screen. There's about 40% loss of detail on screen.Because I'm so used to doing this one it takes about 1 hour to do.

I like the lack of detail in this because it makes the wonderful pattern in the overall design stand out.

Simply georgous.

Sheila: Glad that you are drawing and selling some of your fine work. You deserve the best. Great art!!

Stunning image, wish I could help you on the scan front. I scanned some of my cartoons & they came out fine complete with white background. Not sure where its going wrong here. No doubt that the real image is perfection, excellent series. Save the Panda.

What charming simplicity! You've captured the peaceful nature of the bamboo eater.

Very fine work...keep ' em commin

Nice sense of design about this, would look good on a mug. Think the odd bit of bamboo in the left hand corner does not add to the composition. The picture is complete without it.

Artist Reply: thanks for your input john. the more i look at it the more i think you may have a good point there.
