I have seen many images (photos and paintings) which are based on such a theme: the thinker, all of which have been depicting old people, giving the idea to the masses that only old people can think sensibly. But this one is a break-through in the field of human development and endeavour. It is a paradigm-shifter; it gives you the idea that the new age has come, that the young are the leaders, the philosophers. That they are not like you thought they were.
As for the work, the composition looks simple, but perfect. It couldnt be better. The boy looking in the specific direction, his hand rested. Simply perfect!
