Colored By The Moon's Light

The Moon Whispered

The moon whispered
one dark winters night,
among the crackling leaves
and bright starlight.
So sad its words
drifting in winters breeze,
that the willow wept
along with all other trees.
All fell frozen and silent and still,
as the thought traveled in kind
invading their heart,
lodging in mind.
Repeating the lament of its lunar tune,
all understood the singleness
of this preeminent moon.
It sighed three words only,
For the moon whispered
"I am Lonely..."

I think her laugh was contagous to her paintings i think, this makes me bubble up with joy, i dont know why ^_^but is it just me, or is there a sad face in there? or is it thoughtful, i think that its thoughtful. your right jerry, once you find what she has hidden you cant forget it. :)

Anonymous Guest 01 Feb 2007

Jeff, I was remembering that it was her birthday.... wanting to see her laugh... Do you see all the faces in her painting...

Artist Reply: You know it's very true. There is much hidden in all of Sher's works. faces yes, words yes, multiple images yes, images within images yes, images within color to color. Not many realize even in her pencel sketches that are so exact, much is hidden. Sher left a world of imformation in so much of what she did. Once you find it hidden, you can't forget it. It sticks out like a sore thumb, until you do, they remain a mystery to most viewing. Many of the images have lost detail because of camera work and resolution. The last five images were done at much higher resolution and more is revield. Sher's laugh was infectious, when she laughed, her whole body laughed and no one could not laugh with her. :))) Thanks for the comment Anonymous and noticing, who ever you are.
