The Dalles Falls in the Spring

This is the falls on the Palisades Trail in April of 2004. My guess-timation of the height from the top is between 80 to 100 feet tall. This is just the bottom half. To the left is one of the old growth cedar trees I mentioned before. The second photo, taken by my daughter, is of me between the "twins". I swear these majestic trees speak to me. There are no words that can truly describe the sights, sounds and smells of this special place. Wish you could really experience this... :)

Cypress trees do not do well in Indiana so that has to be another White river. Like maybe, Oregon or Washington?

Great, Mary. I'm not yet ready for spring but the green sure looks nice. Cheers!
