Artist Reply: Tahnja, my thanks for you for reading the quote and I believe it to be true. In my case I must have proximity awareness or become in a state of Shibumi which is a state of grace knowing that which surrounds you when I paint. Everything must be orderly around me. Interestingly enough some might say I am obsessive but I am practicing that quote. Thanks fo recognizing its importance and your gracious comments on my work. I sincerely appreciate it. Michael
