The Sky Should be as Inviting as Your Smile

If you could see the original painting you might very possibly make out the face I painted over just to the left of the jug-like image. This suggested the title, though the person I painted over was the true inspiration for the piece. I hasten to add that I painted over the face simply because I couldn't do justice to her smile and for no other reason. This is a 16 by 20 inch acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped canvas. Original Jones Art.

Very powerful work, Charles!! Very nicely composed, wonderful colors !!

Artist Reply: This piece came about spontaneously, something akin to spontaneous combustion, as my whole being seemed to need an outlet. Art has always been both an intellectual and an emotional outlet for me, Helena. I try to balance the two, but sometimes the emotional element gets the better of me. I'm fairly sure that, knowing your work, you can relate to this. Hope you are doing great. :)
