while visiting this church, i saw a japanese tourist get the bum's rush for taking photographs [literally being hauled out by the seat of his pants]and while I was painting this, from the corner of my eye, i saw the shoes of the usher standing next to where i was seated - and thought I was next.

Lord-love-a-duck! what is wrong with this world. you'd think they'd encourage people to show up in a church for what ever reason and encourage them to stay after. only thing i can think of to remotely justify that behaviour is if he were using flash on paintings and they were concerned for the safety of said paintings. anyway........really like your watercolour.
