Lately I have been needing to get out of the city and in to nature which is where I get most of my inspiration from for my paintings. However I havent been able to and have been stuck in the city. So painting this was a way for me to feel some healing energy of nature. Also I have wanted to paint a green forest fairy for a while, and I also love Emeralds so I put that in the title. This one is on a larger canvas. It took me 8 hours to paint.

Hi This is Rhodri off AFAE, your stuff isn't viewable there yet (for some reason) so I thought I'd have a looky in here. I like this picture, you handle the paint well, in both the rapid and the precise strokes, colour work is lovely too.george martinez 11 Feb 2007
