Nelly van Nieuwenhuijzen 16 Dec 2006

WOW!!! GREAT !!!! LOVE IT!!! and suddenly I'm reading the comment of Olga... xxxx??????

Artist Reply: thank you very much Nelly! so, now I have to check out your furnitures as Olga me told.....

Olga van Dijk 16 Dec 2006

You weather proofed it due to the varnish?? How is the process making a masterpiece like this? Look at Nelly van Nieuwenhuijzen' s designs of furniture. She is a wonderful artist too!--

Artist Reply: thank you very much Olga! it's a log process to build such a piece, I start with an old chair, build new forms with wire, paperboard, I cover them several times with pappmaché (kleisterpapier), than the most work is to cover it maybe three times with fiberglass, polyester, to become a stability AND the weatherproof...than the painting is the dessert, the vanish makes them mar-resistant and high glossy..... it's fun to create but needs longtime untill it's possible to share with nice people like you...;-)))
