Just a little bit of info:
female peacocks are called peahens and do not have these beautiful feathers, the are plain looking. The males are colorful like this to attract the female. : )
Laurie .......when i was 6 years old, long time ago lol...hehheheheh i saw first time peacock......and i ran after him or her lol.....and pulled feathers out...my mom almost had a heart attack...lol but that is my first memory of this beautiful paradise bird....AWSOME CLOSE UP...
