This is a picture of a Cattleya plant, only one of the many orchid plants that my husband raises. It just won a blue ribbon from the South Metro Orchid Society. I hope you enjoy them and please stop back again! :)

Definitely blue ribbon material. Beautiful photograph, lighting perfect. I can just get lost in the glorieous color and soft petals.

Artist Reply: I am glad you are enjoying these orchids Annamaria. I wish you could have seen the REAL thing...it had 37 blooms this year!!! I had my fill of snow when I lived up north most of my life but now I'm in the sunny south where it's only occassional. Nice to have at Christmas though! :)
