Angry Uterus!

Once a month, the beast awakens and you will feel the wrath! Um... anyway, yeah, I don't think I really need to explain much more or how this was inspired. Damn my Mum's genes! For those of you who've commented such things on this one as: "I don't get it. So you're saying you have a monstrous uterus, or...? It doesn't even look like a uterus! It looks more like the design for H.R. Giger's alien design or somethin'!" First of all, if you don't get it, then... I dunno. Other than that, I know since this is supposed to be a side view, the angle for the fallopian tubes and ovaries (espesially the background one) is a bit off, but hell, when you think about it, I'm sure a good portion of this organ's anatomy is pretty well inaccurate period, so oh well. This was just a doodley-sketch I did while the professor was giving his lecture to take my mind off of the pain I was having. >.< Ssooo yeah, I guess I need to get back to drawing more naked ladies, because that seems to be the only thing that gets looked at in this collection. Haha.

I like this one...naked ladies are only naked ladies and they are just exploited too much, but here you go into the hidden heart of the woman and touch the pain and release it in this form...more people should learn to have compassion and some empathy...the body can do strange things to the soul...hopefully the mind is stronger than the flesh although it is very difficult to rise above the shallow plane of skin we live in...I keep trying. I really do think this is profound.

Artist Reply: Thank you very much. To be quite honest, I was just taking the mental image I usually get of all the funkyness going on inside of me whenever I get cramps, and finally put it on paper, because well... I thought it was just funny (I know, I'm amused easily). That, and like I said, it was a distraction from the pain at the moment. Hah'. Never in my life did I initially intend for this to have such a profound message or imagine that it would so, but hearing what you got from it is really interesting; I really like your perspective. Anyway, thanks again. ^_^
