Self - Portrait ,myself in about 20 years from today...A lot of times we're thinking...where we shall be in about 20 years from now...What shall we do..look like...etc.Well,no one can really predict the future ...And the choice is always in our hands.Personally I don't too much think of the future,I prefer to live the way,that will lead naturally,to how my life should look like.TO LIVE LIFE,Each day...to try to enjoy,what I have at this moment of my life,and to believe,that my life will be developed into the right place,in a natural way...Some processes of life can take time...sometimes even all LIFE,Long.I hope that,when my life will be ended,I will know that I lived them to the fullness ,loyal to my inner truth. This is,maybe the real first time that i tried to paint my self - portrait...and actually the number of painted portraits,i did,all my life...you can count on one hand's fingers.The work below,is to sense the inspiration comes from all over.Finished to work on it ,NOVEMBER 15,06.The original photo of myself taken by myself,could be seen on my portfolio,in Sub - Gallery:People/portrait,myself the artist.---To be continued,Because this is only the beginning...........The title of this portrait is taken from Hebrew song - "Eternally/Forever following the Sun,eternally following the light ..The Sun is writing my day...and my heart is a bird..... ",is a song from the 80's,that my son ,Yarin sing a lot lately,actually everyday.8888888888888888888888888888 This is my last post until i'll come back from my vacation.Thanks for viewing and commenting,Have yourself a gorgeous weekend.Love ,Nira

you know what, when I first saw this piece I actually saw content and a state of tranquility or an at ease state, but after looking at this and reading the heading i don't see that much content. this image is great because it makes me think that there is something greater out there and what i love about this is the portrait in your face shows contimplation on how to get there, vunerable yet strong willed. the portrait is a great likeness and the watercolor technique is great as well, i like the color in the one on the bottom though give a hippie effect which is nice. both pieces are just great pieces of art !!!!!Les Jobes 29 Nov 2006

Good morning,my dear Nira.It was just wonderful to visit you,on Sunday.I saw your post here,while i was at your home,but I had the privilege to view also your real piece of art,which I love,like I love you.I think,like always you are so very talented ,my friend.I look at this portrait,and I saw also the photo you use for it,and I saw it is very much resembles...
