This collage on paper is part of a series based on dichos, or Mexican proverbs. Although you could interpret “the price is high” as a cautionary tale, I prefer to consider “the blue sky” as a flicker of hope, hinting at what is possible. Visionary artists and other revolutionaries might consider this dicho a way of life.
