The setting is the town of Pilar, a few minutes from Maceió. In the background the mother church of Our Lady of Pilar. In front Mateus and the Master passing through the streets to call the people who take part in the pageant. They announce which Warrior will present himself in the evening, generally at the public square or in somebodys house. This pageant is of traditional popularity in the town.
