Fearsaken

Drawing I did back in 1998 once my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Helped me release some of the pain, frustration and sadness most families experience when taking care of loved ones in difficult times.

This is awesome work. It made me cry as I witness my husband's dear grandfather, then later his grandmother loose their memories, and in her case, to remeber how to swaloow food at times. My husband's voice and face is the only time she manages to focus and speak for a moment or two, and now that is going as well. Cures are coming, preventive mediactions, as well, just wish we had a way to stop it now, undo what was done.
