First thing that grabs me is the composition - my eye is led through a zig zag maze through your painting - such a good thing. Then I look closer at the covered bridge and silo, and I notice subtle details of color, light and lines, and I love what I see. Next, the tree to the right of the bridge is amazing! It has such a three dimensional form in the strokes of lighter tones. It stands out just enought against what is clearly another line of trees behind it. Great work, Pete!!joan warburton 12 Oct 2006
