After twelve years of teaching arts to problematic and abused children from various agencies and facilities, I have been completely convinced of the multigenerational crosscultural negative ramifications of a broken home. I had a close friend who is an incredibly gifted and active school psychologist ask me; "Hector, at what point is it acceptable to break a vow that was vowed before God and man?"... I had no definite answer. "UNVOWED" is a painted collaged image which was put together as a social commentary on marital infidelity. A woman who by pressure and by personal choice chose to break her youthful covenant and merge her life elsewhere despite the climactic feral futilities. Some say Life springs forth from death... regardless who feels it... regardless the promises... despite the consequences. ----------------------------------
