Fallen Justice

Oil on canvas, 24" x 36", 2006 Sarah Deutsch and Emily Reed called for members action: "Members Challenge - Collaboralchemy." My painting is an answer on this great idea. This is transformation of the original photo "A Reminder of the Death Penalty" Copyright © Emily Reed. Emily, I very much appreciate your permission to use your artwork as an inspiration to my painting. p.s Surface of the painting is little sparkling because a fresh paint.

"Fallen Justice" jak sama nazwa wskazuje to wczorajsza szlachetna Justyna, dzis spryciara, przekupa i przyczyna zalu i lez. U niejednych budzi satysfakcje, pokryta dla niepoznaki wspolczujacym "..och.. jakie to straszne!!!" a u innych co ma wisiec to nie utonie. Ten obraz dedykuje tym ostatnim, skazanym przez Justyne rzecz jasna...na kare smierci. Pozdrawiam serdecznie.

Its little hard to see so much blood on an artistic painting. Its also out of my philosophy. Death its not a penalty but the freedom of the soul of this always damaged cage, full of pain. But this is a very well done painting. Bravo Krystyna!!!

Artist Reply: Thank you Babis, I belive that red patterns reflect a pain, a beast hungry for power what could not breathe water, but from other point of view you have right, too much pain and too much blood around. Thanks again!
