'Fruity Colours' is my first attempt with softies on Ingres paper. This kind of paper is a new thing for me because I'm used to working on richly textured supports with this medium.
I consider this pic more as an accomplished exercize on colours, volume and reflections than as a really finished piece (as you can see, there is not background and the surface of the table is just 'suggested').
But well, I like it as it is and that's the reason why I've decided to submit it here and as an entry for a friendly contest whose theme is 'still life'.

I doesn't need a background the blue of the paper is enough Greg. I love the reflections in the cup, and those most dificult of fruit to draw or paint, the grapes, look wonderful You have really captured the bloom on them.
