"cet" is approximately 24 X 36 inches, a painting in oils on recycled cardboard. The painting is signed "Amante", and is finished in a recycled, black painted frame. I painted "cet" in 2003, while I was living in western Minnesota. I had not painted in 20 years, but one day a friend gave me a box of oils he found in the trash. During the 4-month period to follow, I completed two dozen paintings (of which "cet" was one of my favorites). "cet" portrays my ex-girlfriend of many years ago, Patti. Patti was a very familiar subject for my artwork thoroughout my career (that is, until I met my wife, Kathy), even though the relationship between Patti and I ended decades ago. "cet" is one of the few paintings I signed "Amante", as I started signing all of my paintings as "BB" by the end of 2004.
