Alien Dawn - Late in the 2nd Chronicle, Kathra, Ian Mazarin, and Kiril are attacked by the tanurai, and crash land on a barren world in the middle of nowhere. The tanurai capture Kathra and, although she manages to severely hurt the spore, it latches onto her and begins to transform her into a tanurai magi to produce more spores and lead the invasion of the nearby systems.
