This is painted over the pencil study I made after Rembrand's painting "diner at emmaus". About Jezus who appears three days after his burial at the diner table of these two man. I wasn't going for an excact copy, I didn't even used the example of the painting while painting this in. I did try to capture the lighteffects and the whole idea of the painting. This scan doesn't reale do my original justice, it's a scan of a copy. And colors are a bit screwed up, as ar my impasto effects and the golden light that is shining over it. But I have tried to fix it up a bit in photoshop.
