Dogwood

18 x 24 on cold pressed watercolor paper. A medium that I spent some time in, and thoroughly enjoyed, but I always preferred the permanance, more forgiving nature and ease of displaying canvas. Even way back when... I liked the extreme bird's eye view. "A fallen and eroding Haida totem pole lays over the image of a long gone Haida Chief. The "Dogwood" remains."

Nice work. I like to see artist braching out into other subject matters. Not that I don't think the koi paintings are spectacular.
