Fantastic artwork, Stu. I'm also a huge fan of Wrightson's.

Artist Reply: I can't think of anyone who's ever seen Wrightson's work and not admired it. I especially love the stuff he did for Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Cheers Dan. You da man.

I loved doing this. I'm a massive fan of the great Bernie Wrightson and if you're watching Bernie, this is a tip of the hat to you mate. Oh cack, my head's fallen off.

ya know... I'm not sure who would win in a fight... the creature or the car... of course always bet on the super natural, except in cases were there a young good looking hero. Love this piece. More please.

Stu Smith 28 Nov 2003

Yes Mike, I do have my critics don't I? I think it's my deodorant, it may have those pheremones in it that attracts that sort. (squirt squirt) Come get me !! I just love 'em!

Mike Worthen 25 Nov 2003

Very nice, this is exactly what you don't want to see when driving a deserted road late at night. Sweet work. By the way, it sounds like you have a few a critics out there. Keep up the creativity, I love it.

Cool, funky and creepy. i think it looks good in black and white, it would have spoilt the feel if it was in colour it wouldn't be scary enough. -Rachel Hogarth

i still am think that this should be made on a private website. it is wrong

Stu Smith 01 Sep 2003

No appologies necassary, Mr/Mrs Anonymous user, I always welcome any kind of comment, good or bad, and always will. Sorry to tell you that my zombie is staying, I think he's cute in a kind of soft, unholy, rotten kind of way.

Anonymous Guest 01 Sep 2003

Anonymous Guest 31 Aug 2003

Wow, that's scary

Shawn McCarty 06 Jul 2003

If there isn't a story that goes along with this peice than you should definitely write one. Great atmosphere, gets my blood pumpin' just looking at it.

Brandon McConnell 27 Jun 2003

hey stu i dig your style!

Stu Smith 23 Jun 2003

Glad you like! I love doing gory stuff. Interestingly, I had to 'invent' a method for making the glare look neat but without getting a fractal pattern that emerges when it is made too mathematically correct. It involves using Macromedia Flash and if anyone's interested , mail me and I'll share! (I'm good like that)........ 5 out of 5 Stu, well done ;-P

Jordan Lewerissa 22 Jun 2003

Hey Stu - I love the glare of the headlamps! Is Mr Zombie Truck Dodger going to feel the pain even if he does get axed? Great piece!!
