Of course, no one living has ever seen the Father as this, and nor can anyone know what the Father looks like, except that, "He who has seen the Son has seen the Father." This image is to represent the pain and suffering the Father must have shared with His Son as he proceeded to the Cross. John 16:32 Jesus said: "Behold, the hour comes, yes, it has now come, that you shall all be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me."

James, I think that your vision of God, "Our Father" is awesome. I haven't researched the subject of "any paintings of God", but I think He would be proud of you for your painting. Blessings, LindaJo-Ann Hayden 02 Feb 2008
