Need to Cool Off???

You don't have to get that close to Spray Falls to feel the mist. The trailhead to this wonderful place starts at Mowich Lake. This moderate hike is a little over 2 mi. and travels thru beautiful forests with many smaller streams along the way. A short side trail, at 1.7 mi., will take you to Eagle Cliff...the only view of Mt. Rainier on this hike, but a spectacular one...that is if it's not cloudy. The trail continues on to the falls where the water shoots off the top and falls 160 ft to the base. It's a great destination in itself, but if you want to continue on the trail for another mile (gets steeper here), you will reach Spray Park, a very large alpine meadow.

If we see, how tiny we are and how rich we walk around on this globe, then we open our eyes for nature... Beautifull.. taking this walk insite your gallery

Another beautiful waterfall image Mary! Gorgeous! I've been on a quest recently to locate some waterfalls in the Los Angeles area, but these shots have just lit a fire under me, Thanks :) (from what I've found in my search, there are actually waterfalls all over the area, if your willing to seek them out, so I'm off first thing tomorrow, to do just that!)
