Of course this is the Last Supper or the last Passover Feast that He will share with his disciples. Peter is to His left with his hand raised and John (the beloved) was to His right. Judas is in the front not looking to Christ but clutching his money bag. I wanted to set this painting up as a Menorah. That is the seven candle stick as described in the Old Testament. The center candle is described as the servant candle because it lights all the other candles. Christ was the servant candle. He came to serve and he also came to bring light into the world and to light all the other lesser lights (true Christians). Even in Revelation, Christ is seen as the servant candle in the midst of the others. REV.1:12-13 And I turned to see the voice that spoke to me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girded about the chest with a golden girdle.
