i sat down yesterday after work and drew this, out of frustration and anger. our entire health care system in the united states is in a silent crisis......
A profound message Eileen! Things need to change. In answer to Gregg Dutcher's comments about out NHS in the UK. Thank God for it I say! I've had several operations on the NHS. One of them to remove a tumour from my head. They saved my life. In November I'm having a new knee cap. All for free! I have never had to worry about how I was going to pay a doctor called out at night when my children were small. Before I did my teaching degree (which was free!) I trained as a nurse. The NHS is overloaded due to the huge pressure it's under from the sheer number of people who have come to Britain (including Americans who use our NHS) It may not be perfect but it still staggering along. Long may it reign!!! Sorry about that rant but that remark got me on the raw! Brilliant picture. It says it all!
I AGREE,...AND YES!!!!!,...THE NURSES ARE ON THE **** END OF THE STICK TOO!!! CHANGE IS DESPERATELY NEEDED,...BUT NOT NATIONALIZING THOUGH!!!! CANADA AND uNITED kINGDOM'S HEALTH CARE SYSTEMS ARE,...BELIEVE IT OR NOT,...WORSE!!!! CONSIDERING HEALTH CARE RELATED PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE OUR NUMBER 1 INDUSTRY,...WE NEED TO REFORM IT NOW!!!!! --GREAT PICTURE--
