For some reason, I have become a fan of Josephine Baker. Love this look. Don't you??

Lovely portrait, I love the old fashioned look.

Artist Reply: Mr. Amstel, I love that you like the old fashioned ones. Thanks very much!

You went in there and got this ONE! Smack dab in the middle...go on with yo fine self, this one is the creme de la Creme! I'm going to not on and on, however, this image merits long and exhausted viewing.

Artist Reply: Elf! I got what? Glad you like it, thanks for the compliment, but, all I did was draw what I saw, and not a good drawing, at that. At least not to me. I might have to do this one over, as well. Thanks again!!

You're just plain very very good at what you do Carliss. This is so good.

Oh my goodness, i LOVE this one! I remember your other Josephine portraits and how great they were, but this one is my favorite! This looks just like her, and you captured her flirty side glance and coy smile perfectly! I adore her spit-curls too and the hat and the over-all softness to this piece is a special effect as it makes this portrait look and feel more vintage! I'm def. going to put this in my personal faves, and I wanted to invite you to take a look at my Josephine Baker inspired themed bookmark in my portfolio since I know how much you like her. Excellent and beautiful work Carliss! Yes, I def. love this look! :)
