Oil on canvas 20x16 in. 2006. NFS/private collection Krystyna Wedrowska, Florida. Signed lower left corner:" K.Wedr" Tube colours Winsor& Newton, Grumbacher. Drawing black oil chalk. Technics wet over dry, wet in wet. Portrait of my grandparents painted off a photograph 1935 / Place: nearby Aleksandrow Kujawski, Poland,4 years before World War II/.The two girls are shown in the painting's foreground, with Aleksandra /my mother/ at left /3 years old at this time/, Danuta at the right. To the left Regina /stands/, then my grandmother Pelagia and her youngest son Zenon. In the center is 5 years old Jadwiga. My grandfather Bronislaw and grandparent's eldest daugther Emilia /stands/. Floral composition was made by my grandmother.
