Erm, I just need to say, Ginger IS NOT STILL TRYING!!!! Read the title, study the painting, and connect the two! Easy! Ginger is such a fine artist, I can only aspire to, so for any one to think she is "still trying" is beyond any scope of my (very vivid) imagination! Sorry Ginger, but I know the meaning here, and can't believe any one would think YOU are still trying!!

A very appropriate title, and a stunning portrayal of the subject. You have captured such raw feeling within this piece, I can almost feel her weariness, trying to find that one last job before her looks vanish forever. Oh this is just so wonderful, it is perfect, the way you give such life and feeling to a painting, I feel you are one of the "masters" of our present time.

Artist Reply: No, no! It's not 'me' that's still trying, it's HER! I should have explained more in the description. She's a representation of a 'lady of the night' who is past her prime and still trying! I painted her the way I saw her. The painting is finished the way it is.
