The Flatirons on the west edge of Boulder, Colorado after the first snow - I took this almost eight years ago with my first digital camera - an Olympus D600L - with little to work with except the excitement of someone who has found a new passion - and I just love first, deep snows

Artist Reply: Lauren - thanks - I know what you mean - the wonderful snows have disappeared, last weeks rain seems a rare thing indeed - I enjoyed the dampness - but now, we are back to the nineties - the good old days aren't so old but they sure seem a distant memory
